Volunteer

According to the American Heritage Dictionary, a volunteer is defined as a person who performs or gives his/her services of his/her free will.  Volunteerism is a strength that defined the State of Tennessee in American history.  In Chattanooga's sports tourism industry, volunteers are the strength that defines the success of all sporting events.

"The STEM Robotics team had a great experience volunteering for the AAU Girls Basketball National Championship with the Chattanooga Sports Committee. Our volunteer positions were well organized with clear instructions. We loved that we could support the event, the Chattanooga community, while benefiting our school team all at the same time. Without the opportunity to volunteer with the CSC, our team would not have had the operational funds to make it through the season. Thank you, Sports Committee!"
--- Stacy Hill, Mathematics Teacher/Robotics Coach, STEM School Chattanooga
